Luce Chair
Inspired by the enduring beauty of the traditional Flemish seat, the Luce Chair is a study in timeless simplicity. Refined in its proportions and quietly elegant in its presence, it reimagines a historic silhouette through a contemporary lens, balancing heritage craftsmanship with modern living.
Constructed with natural materials including coconut fibre, wool, and silk padding, the Luce Chair is designed to offer lasting comfort while remaining true to our commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design. Its defining feature is a removable, naturally dyed cover that allows the chair to evolve over time. Named after the Latin word for “light,” Luce reflects the ever-changing relationship between colour and light throughout the seasons. A simple change of cover can subtly transform both the chair and the atmosphere around it, offering renewed character without replacing the piece itself.
Designed to transcend trends, the Luce Chair feels equally at home in a centuries-old château as it does within a contemporary interior. Its understated form provides the perfect foundation for our bespoke palette of naturally dyed textiles, each one bringing warmth, depth, and individuality through the rich nuances only natural pigments can create.
Built to last for generations, the Luce Chair embraces a slower approach to luxury. Its covers can be removed, washed, and re-dyed in partnership with our studio, extending the life of the chair while allowing it to evolve alongside the homes and lives it inhabits.
